The blue light of the monitor keep flash and no picture appears on the screen

I have exactly the same problem with my Medion 17" TFT monitor. It is not the video card (tried changing it) or the motherboard. Fitting a different monitor makes the problem go away. The monitor does not display the "No Signal" message when unplugged from the PC either. It must be a fault in the monitor, and as it seems to be a design fault. I suggest you contact Medion and nag for a replacement.

It as a noisey hum

Have you got this plugged into a surge protector? Try plugging it into a socket without the the surger protector, see if that cures it. Check also that you do not have too many devices plugged into the protector.
See also if there are any other devices near the monitor (speakers, TV, anything with a magnet in them), try moving the monitor away from them, see if that helps.

After that, the signs are that it may be a capacitor overloading, you need to get this checked professionally, do not try to do this yourself, as the capacitors retain their charge for a looong time and can give you a shock if you touch them ( as I found out...)

I have lost medion 90092 scanner driver cd plese

You don't need the disc anyway. All you need to do is to click here and download the basic driver. Then remove your scanner and double-click on it and run the installation. After that, connect your scanner and it should be installed. You can then use MS word, Paint or any other program to scan docs, etc.

For future downloads, bookmark this site so you can always download driver when required. Just do a full text search in Drivers section for scanner (input scanner in search field)

I have siemens LCD monitor

Most likely your power supply has failed as this is the most commonest problem.
The cost of replacement may be more than a new comparable unit, you will have to check.
This is a classic switchmode power supply, shutting down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, This set should be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an Medion, Siemens, Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, "Head Office" Now, when you get the information you want, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand

My screen shows black you can hear the computer

The fault sounds like a invert problem, the inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp which provides the backlight or a faulty CCFL lamp. If you see a dim image when you look at the LCD screen at a sharp angle then this confirms this diagnostics.

Where is the inverter board for MD 7317 17

Sometimes inverter module is combined with power supply (and looks like that is your case) and just located in separate areas on the same PCB. Take a look at that board, the area where high-voltage wires are coming in is the inverter. Capacitors, the cheapest would be on jameco.com, but better quality is at mouser.com or newark.com or digikey.com or alliedelec.com.

I just got a dell e172fpb monitor from a friend that doesn't work

Hello,

It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of he monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and - connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping.

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
