My medion has a tv card but cant watch tv

What you need do is install the drivers/applications that are necessary for your TV card to work. Find these drivers/utilities on the CD disk that came with your computer.

If you do not have access to the CD disk, find the drivers on the internet using the makers name and model number of the TV card. This info can be found on the TV card itself.

Take care!

Windows vista, microsoft has stopped it from

this is because the drivers for the graphics card are reporting back that the card is failing. This may not be the case but might be corrupted drivers. uninstall the card through the device manager and then scan for hardware changes so windows reinstalls it. if that doesn't work, download the drivers from the ati website and try again. make sure that all fans and heatsinks are clean and unblocked using a brush and compressed air (not the vacuum cleaner). if all this fails, it may be the card.

No power at all

Common problem with this model. The power supply goes bad like emachines. Make sure the power switch on the back by the plug is turned on first. I have seen them powered on and still not supply power to the motherboard. For that model you need an ATX power supply replacement.

Beep and blue flashing light

in that case you need to open the tower or CPU and reseat RAM and graphic card if you have 1
and then try to start the computer
it should work
and if you still get beeps.
and can try to plug memory card 1 by 1
if you have more than 1 memory card
if the computer starts with 1 memory card
then it could be the issue with the memory card
if not then the slot on the motherboard is gone bad
and the motherboard needs to be replaced or repaired

Start up

This is a rather vague question. Not sure at to what is going on with this problem so I will just assume what you need is you are having a crash with no being about to start up your computer for some reason all I can suggest since I have no further information is go ahead and shut the computer down and unplug it from the wall. Press the power button until you see it flash.
Then plug the computer in and restart your system. This will reset drivers and the computer to its default state. Then try it from there restart the computer. If this does not work, you can perform a system restore back to an earlier time. This would be my best answer for this question.
Depending on your Operating system XP or Vista or Win 7 you can go to start-run-type MSCONFIG then go in and select restore computer look for restore computer for an earlier time. If this is not already set up you cannot go back if it is you will see a little calendar if you can get there at all. Select an earlier date that you new you had no problems. If this does not work insert the either restore disc or the WinXP or Vista or the Win 7 disc in the CD or DVD ROM drive and restart the computer and do a complete wipe and re-install of your operating system from the System Boot Disk it should be set to Load from CD or DVD ROM as the first boot.
If not you will need to go into the BIOS and set the BOOT section to boot from the DVD or CD ROM as the first boot and hard drive as the second boot device. This will ensure that the disk that is inserted will boot first follow the on screen instructions. I hope this assisted you with this question. John
