It is on the inside of the laptop, you will need to unscrew at the bottom and it will be located at the bottom right corner of the motherboard. It looks similar to a watch battery.

Ok your problem is likely the battery that keeps up the clock while the computer is turned off. Luckly in most cases it is also a cheap and easy fix that I can tell you how to do so you don't have to see me down at the shop where my boss will charge you 30 bucks. Ok what you are looking for is some coin cells like the kind that you have in your watch. They maybe covered with a blue(most likely, but not always) plastic and have two wires coming out of them to the motherboard. On the motherboard will be a socket that the receptical at the end of the wires plugs in to. If there is not do not try to unsolder the wires this is a multi-layered board and you will short it out. The next type that you may run into is one that is held on the motherboard if it is easly removed, remove it (The ones that are not easy to remove have been soldered there and the contacts that hold them will actually move when you try to move the battery) however if the contacts don't move like in your watch. then just push it out and you can obtain a new battery at a computer store. One that is a little more technical than Staples. Staples is a great store I just don't get my computer batteries there

You need to install the drivers that came with the latop on a disc or dload them from the makers website. Windows up date mabe able to find them for you

When you say play DVDs you mean watch DVD movies? Assuming the drive is not broken you need to use the DVD app. You could use VLC Player which you can download. It's an orange traffic cone icon.

Could be it has overheated and the NVidea chip is damaged. No idea why they are called laptops as to put them on a lap blocks the ventilation and they will overheat.

I found out in Google that this tablet has Windows 8 on it. You can install Facebook on it by going to the "Microsoft Store". If it didn't install, check if your operating system is 8.1 Let me know if that helps.

try taking out the battery and unplugging the power cord from it and then holding down the power button for the count of 5 the long way 1 one thousand two one thousand ect.... this will drain back the power from the board and it just might boot after you plug everything back in again and try to power it back on
