This model printer with a flatbed scanner cannot scan slides. There isnt any adapter that you can use. It would need a light source to shine through the slides to be picked up by the scanner sensor.

I had a similar problem with my HP 3620 - I couldn't find the jam either.Clear all print jobs in the queue. Unplug the printer from the computer.Switch off the printer and leave for about 1/2 hour. Replug, switch on and I am sure you will find it has cleared itself. Hope this works for you.
