Camera won't stay on with new batteries

Always charge NiMH batteries before using them for the first time, or if they have not been used for a long period. Always charge sets of batteries (2 or 4) together. Do not use alkaline batteries unless it is absolutely necessary. In some cases, alkaline batteries may have a shorter service life than NiMH. Alkaline battery performance is limited, especially at low temperatures. The use of NiMH batteries is recommended. AA manganese (Zinc-Carbon) should not be used. hey have limited power and can leak in a short time, destroying a camera.

The camera turns on, then after a few seconds turns off. The lens is in and does not start to come out.

It is not a good sign when the lens does not come out. It could ba it is stuck in the barrel, but it also could indicate the battery has not enough power to drive the lens out. When the camera does not detect the lens is out in a certain time, it automatically will shut down, to limit the damage. Check if you can spot something, why the lens does not move and use a good battery (batteries)

Battery door is broken, needs to be replaced.

Did you check on ifixit? They not only have repair video's and manuals, but also can deliver spare parts.I hope they still have parts for a 10 years old camera.

Where can I buy a SD card that will format

You should be able to buy SD cards at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. You might also find them at drugstores and supermarkets. Make sure you get an SD card, 2GB or smaller, and not a higher-capacity SDHC card.

It's did not take memary card. it's sey's format the memary. I reformat memary but same problem and after chenge new memary displyed same problem. it's can fix??

The 4GB card is an SDHC card and will not work in the 735. The 2GB card should format in the camera. Make sure it's not write-protected. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Can not formate my new 4GB SD Card...

The 735 works with SD cards. Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed for them. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Help to download photos

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.
