aha well do you have 32 bit or 64 bit Vista? Anyway for 32 bit you will have to have the create and share UPGRADE cdrom that was published by the manufacturer of the camera... It will not work with 64 bit...Next before you run the cd go to properties of the setup file and select compatiblity mode Windows xp Service Pack 2 and check the box that says run as administrator click ok on the properties windows. next just run the setup file by double clicking it as you would normally do and all should be well.

It will if you have the software upgrade cd-rom published years ago by intel when xp first appeared. Intel no longer supports any cameras considered "toys". The old cd-rom that came with the camera may work if you use compatiblity mode and select windows 98. The software does not work too well on the old cd so its best to use the upgrade. In order to find the upgrade cd it will be necessary to either go to ebay or a friend or put and ad in the paper.

No, I am really sorry. The Intel Home PC Camera CS331 Webcam are not sold with microphones. You may purchase an additional microphone to use in addition to your webcam; however, unfortunately, this particular product is sold without a microphone.

After you get your camera installed properly, DO NOT unplug it from the USB port as it will
