You need to call AT&T and ask them to change your data and text plan to a Blackberry plan. You can almost interchange any microsoft smartphone and pda but not between iphone, blackberry and Windows Mobile device. Hope this helps. it sounds like your running on boost, and not nextel. If that is the case, you can download Opera Mini OR use the blackberry browser (w/ very limited access) by downloading the 4 main service books- people say you cannot use the blackberry browser with boost, but I do with no problems except limited sites- I have the service books downloaded to my desktop manager and found them online.

Well it should not matter if you entered it 10 times or not, all that does is erase the data on the phone and do a master reset. The phone is still operable after you enter the password wrong ten times. The 507 code means your OS, or operating system has crashed. To solve the problem, you must reinstall by going to the blackberry website, and downloading the proper software along with the blackberry desktop manager. This should solve the issue, unless the phone is fried.

I will assume that you have Boost Mobile, and not Nextel. If I am wrong, you need to put your phone on the blackberry software and upload/refresh your phone. IF YOU ARE ON BOOST, you cannot text on the 7520, the phone is not compatable completley with the iDen network.

At this time, you cannot. There are workarounds online for receiving text through email, but you cannot at this time text on Boostberrys. Search online at google by typing in boostberry and there are a ton of sites that have tips and ideas.

Hold down simultaneously ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE

Try to take the battery out to reset it, normally that will work. If not let me know.

Try pressing the alt key and enter six 0's....then call your cellphone,that is how I reset mine.

I have had this problem a time or two after installing bad apps or the wrong apps. If I leave my phone on for an hour or longer and just let the hourglass turn, it will start up - then remove the bad app if that is what the problem is, hope that helps.

if you already have not figured this out- it;s a very simple fix:

go to your address book icon and press space bar
press your wheel in and select options
scroll down to 'smart dialing' and select it
change your country code to 'unknown'
change your national number length to '10'

yes there is a way.
download "opera mini" (you can google it for download sites) for internet access. however u cannot download anything OTA (over the air) from websites.

as far as texting... the device does not support texting with boost.
there are several ways around this..

you can try a free messaging program (one such as "RAMBLE IM" to use AOL IM).
i used to use this and just send messages to peoples phone numbers that i had saved on my buddylist. (EX: +15552223333)

you can download "GMAIL" which is google email and send emails to peoples cell phone numbers. every cell phone number comes with an email.. for example to send a text to a VERIZON customer u would send the email to [email protected] and they would just reply to it and u would get it. however, they wont see ur phone number it would show up as ur email account u set up with google mail. another however is that gmail doesnt inform u on ur handset when u receive an email u have to manually check it and refresh it but if u go to ur google email account using a computer u can go to settings/options-> forwarding/pop tab-> and forward all emails to ur phone [email protected] (EX: [email protected]) now everytime u get an email it will send it to ur handset as well and it will vibrate or ring whatever u have it on and let u know u have a message.

you can google all these programs to download them and put them on ur blackberry thru desktop manager. good luck.
