Olympus Camera

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

X-940 CHARGING INDICATOR FLUCUATING

Please don't shoot the messenger, but I think you battery has died. You could try to clean the contacts with a dry cloth and put the battery on and of the charger several times, to reset the charger, but if it stays that way (fluctuating light) try another battery.

Write protect keeps coming up since erasing all

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How to download movie from camera to computer local disco

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

I cant install my vg 165

Before you can work with a camera connected to the PC, you have to install the software that came with the camera. That is a driver, and software you you can get the pictures from your camera to the PC and most of the time that software allows you to edit the pictures a little. The software is on the CD that came with the camera. If you lost your CD, but you have registered the camera with Olympus, most of the time they allow you to get the software from their site.

Hi! can i use xD 2GB TYPE M+ CARD WITH OLYMPUS STYLUS 300 DIGITAL?

  • The Olympus Stylus 300 camera works with xD-Picture cards, including the 2GB Type M+ card. But it's important to make sure the camera can use that particular type and size of xD card by checking the camera's specifications and list of compatible devices.

My Olympus fe320 has a blurry screen & takes blurry pics. Is there a fix / solution to this?

Could be a steamed up lense or just dirt from storage. It is over 10 years old so possibly past its best by date but take it to a photographic shop and ask them for an estimate.
