many tv's are taken to repair shops for repair and then are scrapped therefore most repair shops have a pile of busted tv's out the back with perfectly good stands attached why not tour around the shops and ask if they can sell you a stand of a dead tv

Try taking out the red cord and if that doesn't work then try the yellow and if that doesn't work then try the white.

think you need to buy a new one. if it is a few years old it may need replacing. Do not throw it away though, check that a new on charges fully before disposing of it. If the new battery charges to 100 percent you know what the issue is

I believe that your signal may be too strong. Have a cable tv tech to measure the signal strength as you tuner may have to adjust itself to correct the problem each time.

Your TV has and component video input. Your DVD should have this output. You will need a component video cable (Pr, Pb,Y) and an audio cable (L&R)
