Not possible to hook up a stereo signal to a mono and get a stereo signal back out.

Most amps wiring is universal. If u need a high imput plug you might be out of luck they usually come in the box that the amp came in. The input colors should be White and white / blk for left side speakers and gray and gray / blk for right side. I also recommend dumping that amp right in the trash can , sorry to say it like that but that amp is a piece of junk you probably wont get much life out of it, they dont put out anything. Anyway, good luck if u end up using it.

With a 4-pin connector - from left, facing the side of amp with RCAs and high level input:

Left speaker + input, Left speaker - input, right speaker - input, right speaker + input

With 5-pin connector - same as above, except center pin goes to ground and 2 right side pins are for right speaker.

Using the wiring colors check the head unit output with a test speaker.

Quite common problem. Repair it or replace your player if repair cost is too high. Personally, I stopped using CD players time ago: I use a mp3 player.
