What cable u are using?Like a RCA AV component cable or a HDMI cable?Tries another AV holes in the tv,if use a HDMI cable tries another HDMI hub on the tv.Or replaced with it the new RCA AV component cable or a HDMI cable.

Using the remote, type 349734
Then enter 1-6 for the region you want, or press 0 (zero) for all regions.
This works on all players with multi-region capability

Assuming it is a standard lead, either a kettle lead type or a figure of 8 type lead (more than likely this) you can purchase one of these from any of the major supermarkets or any electrical retailer

Your little friend Raphi either needs a new power cord or the power input connection at the back of the player needs re-soldering to the board. Basically, there is a partial break in the electrical supply to the DVD player. If you waggle the cable around a little where it enters the back of the unit, the light will probably go on and off.

It needs a little bit of testing to determine exactly where the break is, but it shouldn't cost too much to fix. Any local TV repair shop or a friend with a bit of electronics knowledge should be able to fix it.

my dvd slot wouldn't open either, so iv'e just took it apart slid the disc out and put it together again, works fine now, just remember to unplug from the socket first.

i take it your talking about a pc dvd burner if its not opening or closing i wouls say the cog/ruber band has broken you need to replace the driver (dvd burner)

try the bush web site for a manual

in most cases its a broken belt or worn cog it really needs to be looked at by a pro but this gives you a start

The Bush DS-BD01 is well known for being a blu-ray player of good value. Unfortunately, there are no firmware updates available for this unit at this time, & this is your problem.

You will find your player will not play some of the latest blu-ray titles & the reason is that blu-ray developers keep getting fancier, mostly with the startup and menu screens. They use newer and newer versions of JAVA to write these menus. I have had to update the firmware of my sony bdp twice in a year because it didn't play the newest rented discs. This is why many models of blu-ray players are being made to connect directly to the internet - so that they can download their firmware upgrades automatically without the consumer having to find the update online, burn it to a disc and then run it in their bdp.

possible bent pins on scart connector, bad lead or just not pushed all the way in. try another scart lead if the pins look good and it's fully connected.
