Communication error 43 message every
COMMUNICATION ERROR (Code: 43, 44) means that "A line problem occurred". There might be a problem with the phone jack where your fax machine is connected to. Try to connect the
telephone line cord to a different jack and try again.

How to keep auto answer
Panasonic KX-FHD331 has Receive Mode Button (Just beside Display screen)at the top control pannel, as shown below: -
Press the button "RECIEVE MODE" Button and set the Fax to "FAX MODE ONLY" and the fax will automatically answer the calls in your absence. For further information you may refer to Page-52 of the Operating Instructions Manual.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Hope it helps! Good Luck!

Fax in memory is full.
OK...I'll ask a dumb question....have you tried to make a copy on your machine.???? If the pages are still blank, just a thought would be to check that you havn't installed the roll of paper in upside down.

How can i install the ink film?
Hello :
If you mean change then :
1: Turn the power off on your fax machine.
2: Open the front or top control panel Make sure not to force the door open.
3:Locate the ink cartridge. Gently pull the cartridge out. Set the cartridge aside.
4:Take the new cartridge out of the package and reserve the packaging. Remove the protective covers over the copper connectors.
5:Insert the new cartridge into the fax machine with the brand label toward you. Now place the old cartridge into the plastic wrapping and box that you reserved from the new cartridge. Recycle the old cartridge or dispose of it in the garbage.
6:Close the fax machine's access panel. Turn the fax machine's power back on.
Warning:
1:Touching the copper connectors on the ink cartridge could damage the cartridge.
2:Make sure that you purchase the correct cartridge for your fax machine. Purchasing the wrong one could damage the cartridge or your fax machine.
good luck .
