Apparently you're not the only person to have trouble obtaining this part. I've read that GE does not make the power cord / thermostat assembly available for purchase separately, but you could consult the GE support page to contact them directly to see if they have other options available to you.

I found a reference here on FixYa that someone else wrote about and they were provided the following number to call:

This will connect you to the GE / Walmart customer service group. Apparently, you must have purchased the appliance at Walmart for this group to help you out. Of course, if you say you bought it at Walmart - and they never sold that model - you won't get any help. Apparently Walmart has a pretty liberal return / replacement policy, so it can't hurt to try.

Google search returns lots of results - I suggest you do a little reading and choose your favourite. Reckon on a cooking time of up to 8 hours...

hi sandra first in order if your control is defective replace the power cord after that connect it switch on if everything is ok you did it right if not the main fuse is damage and trying to fix it inside the cabinet you require a bit of electric experience be very carefull leave a comment

yes, but be careful not to crack or break feet.

If you feed single phase into the line terminals, you will get only 1/3 the heat wattage. To get all heating elements working on single ph, you'll have to separate the common ends of the elements, then connect all 3 in parallel. Keep in mind, doing so will raise your line amperage x3 also. That may put you over the contactor's max rating. Another thing, the contactor will activate on only one sequence of single phase. You may need to move the line to another 2 of the 3 connections.

If you want recipes, there are lots on line. Generally a waffle takes about 5mins to bake.
