I have a new netbook & lost password for outer

You can't. You'll have to reset it, there's a little recessed button on the back, you'll probably need a pencil or similar to hold it in for 30 secs. Once you've done that, you need to set up your router again, and make sure you don't forget the password again.

I have F5D7234-4V1 with insight internet

If you want to use Windows Wireless Zero Configuration to manage the wireless network, you will need to have Windows XP with service pack 2 as a minimum.

With Windows XP and SP2, you will need a Microsoft update for WPA2 that can be obtained from:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/893357/en-us

After installation you will need to use the Windows Zero Config wireless configuration in the control panel to configure the adapter. WPA2 should now be available and work correctly.

Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and Windows Vista offer support for WPA2 without additional updates.

Cant find my cd that came with it

You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

I can't figure out the

If you forget the password for the router then you need to reset all the setting on the router.
How to reset: Locate reset hole on the router, most probably it should be on back side of the router.
Then using Saftey pin you can give a push into that hole.
Now your router is completely reset.
After doing this you can then configure as per your requirement.

How do i connect the

Hi,

Connect a computer to any one of the four LAN ports of the Belkin wireless router.
Launch your web browser on the computer. In the address bar, type http://192.168.2.1
Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click Submit and you will be able to login to the router.

To setup your wireless network, perform the following steps:

1.Disconnect or turn off your broadband modem.
2.Connect the wireless router to the broadband modem through a network cable and then turn it on. You will have to plug in the network into a port called Internet, WAN or WLAN. The other ports on the router are for sending and receiving information to other devices on the wireless networks.
3.You can now connect to the internet via the router with the help of the wireless network card installed on your pc or laptop. The wireless card on the computer has to be turned on for it to recognize and connect to the wireless network.
You can check if the wireless network has been successfully setup by accessing the default router address via a web browser. You will be prompted for a username and password. After you have entered the default username and password, you will be directed to the routers configuration page. For your router, please use the address 192.168.1.1 Username "admin" and password "admin" (without the quotes), in case the blank does not work.

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this free solution.
Thank you.

I forgot my password

You should see a little hole in the back that says "Reset". Take a paperclip and gently poke it in that hole and that will revert your router back to factory settings. This means that all of your custom settings will be cleared including: forwarded ports, password, ect... when your router reboots you will be able to log in. If username and password does come up default is usually username: Admin password: password. sometimes you don't need the password so try leaving it blank.
