Yes it is very easy to do as you are running a Mac with Intel Processor. You have Mac OSx Leopard with updates 1,2, & 3. To upgrade to Mac OSx Snow Leopard you must buy the upgrade. Go here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/ On the top right click (Buy Now) You will have to pay $29 which is a bargain. Once you get the upgrade on CD simply follow the directions for the simple upgrade. I did the same thing when Snow Leopard came out. It is well worth the $29.

This sounds like a problem with your internet connection. Try playing the video at a lower quality or pausing the video to allow it to buffer.

Try updating to the latest version of flash player. http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Also, clear your browsing data, like cookies, cache, etc. and then restart your computer. That should fix your problem.

The LG 32LD550 television has HDMI and VGA.
Your iMac has a mini-DVI output port with support for DVI, VGA, S-video, and composite video connections via adapter.
So all you need is either:
1) mini-DVI to VGA adapter.
2) mini-DVI to HDMI adapter.

HDMI is better quality, and so I'd recommend something like this: http://www.amazon.com/PTC-Mini-DVI-Adapter-6ft-Macintosh/dp/B001H0REVK (You may want a longer cable though).

1) Restart the computer and try again. If that fails, 2) Gently blow canned air into your CD drive slot. If that fails, 3) Bring the unit in for a drive replacement.

I think that the mechanism of the cd accepter must be not accepting the cd due to blockages such as dust or sand particles. If you are experienced, open the case and try to find blockages. If problem persists, Call the company's support.

I am afraid i gave in and found an Apple repair company. They sorted it out at a high cost but I cannot function with all my interests without a machine that I can trust. The engineer said he found my E mail in the waste bin. No idea how it got there or how I could recover it. I had look at the contents of this bin several times and never saw anything resembling mail.

Thanks for your concern folks,
John
