I would say that you definitely need to purchase a new netbook battery. If it's only turning on when plugged in, then the battery itself doesn't have any more charge cycles.

this laptoh has wireless card, you just turn it on for using then connect to wifi that available, but if you want to insert new wireless card use usb wireless card thats is the simple way

Go to device manager by - Right click my computer - choose properties - hardware - Device manager -
Under mice or keyboard and mouse check for either synaptics or alps, if u find any one uninstall it and then reinstall it from hp.com or from the inbuilt partition which is recovery manager.
To access recovery manager , click start - all programes - Recovery manager - choose device driver recovery and install any one of the drivers mentioned above.

go into your control panel and find the icon,,region and language.try if you can do it from there.
