I have a Spectronics TV and the power is dead. No lights, no sound just nothing
HelloOpen your TV and check the protection fuse inside [on the power regulator board] is blown up or not. If blown up, repalce it with same type and ampearage. The ampere ratings can be noted on its edge rims. If the replaced fuse again blows Off, make sure that there is some short circuit with the components on that board. This is the picture of the power supply board to your tv. There is no repair to it. Just replace it as card basis.

Watching TV and went through
Hi,
connect a DVD player to the TV. If you still do not have sound, connect a headset to the TV. If there is no sound coming from the headset, it means your TV is have a defective sound ic.
When the sound ic is defective, you cannt hear any sound from the TV because the sound ic is responsible for bring out sound through the speaker.
Let me have a feedback on this issue please.
Yours sincerely.

Have my tv connectd to a satalite and now it says
first check with another set to see if that receiver is working, and if ok then try different cables, even try another device like dvd or vcr to see if works. If nothing after this then video board is damaged and needs repair or replacing.

TV no receiving power. It does not turn on
Firstly start with the fuse in the plug. If you have a multi meter turn the dial to the Ohms setting (Its like a U turned upside down) and check the fuse. You put one contact on each end and you should get a reading or continuity if the fuse is o.k. If you dont have a meter just replace the fuse. Then its a case of replacing the power supply in the tv if that fuse is o.k.

THE SPECTRONIQ 32" LCD TV HAS STOP COMING ON.
Sounds like a failed or at least failing power supply / power board
inside the TV.
Unfortunately this is a very difficult repair, and unless you are an
electrician I would not recommend attempting it. You will need to
contact a local TV repair person in your area. This is actually the
most common problem with this type of TV, I see it every day, it just
happens - sometimes with new TVs and sometimes it takes many years for
it to happen.
If you happened to purchase the TV with a major credit card (not
a debit card) there is a good chance it may still be under the free
extended warranty most credit cards place on electronics. Please
contact your credit card company to inquire if they do this, and they
will be able to file the claim and get you a refund for the TV.
If
you want to attempt the repair yourself please let me know and I will
get you the part number and a place you can purchase it from for what
you need.
So sorry that I don't have better news but it is definitely a power issue internally. If you have more questions or concerns please just reply to my answer here.
Thanks
Tim
