MTD Yard Machine Trimmer 2Cycle Petrol. Engine will start on half choke and run. Will not continue to run when put in run position. New Fuel Clean air filter clean spark arrester.

the carburetor needs adjusted or taken apart and cleaned most likely. also the muffler spark arrestor may be plugged

I have a 21 inch MTD Black, side discharge and mulching push mower with a powermore OHV ENGINE 139 cV, it will start but as soon as I engage the blades it dies

I find no such control as "engage the blades" for this model. There is "blade control" which is a blade brake release and engine run. The blade is in motion any time the engine is in motion, including during start. You hold the blade control lever to start and operate the mower, then release lever to stop engine and blade. PTO will not engage riding mower blades on MTD 13AH762F752.

ed, be sure there is nothing wrapped around the blades. lower the deck and be sure the belt is around all of the pullys. If the belt comes off one of the pulleys or the pulley on the engine it may feel normal but it wont engage the blades.
