What are the solutions for hp netbook 1000 that stopped charging?
POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

SOLVED!!!I have fixed my issue!!!! Open the the monitor using a screw driver, (no screw closed in pressure) take out the from plastic, remove the 6 dark screw in order to disassemble the lcd from the back cover (pay attention to the camera cable)In the back of the the LCD unit there is the inverter unit embedded on top of the LCD unit, there it written (DON'T TOUCH) it is covered by a transparent plastic. On this transparent plastic there is a smal squared recut that can be pulled up. having the PC turned on turn this screw until the the image come back to the normal color.I have tested it and it worked fine on my netbook, I will not be responsable for any damage caused to your PC. Do it under your responsibility, I did it and it worked fine.In my case the laptop was left on the BUS and it got a lot of vibration, I guess that was the reason why that screw lost its original positionThanksCheersFabio
Dust behind the screen
i think you want to bring it to the notebook center,it's strongly recommended because notebooks LCD is a bit fragile

HI HOPE THIS HELPSThe cause of this problem may be the failure of a hardware component, or an error in the instruction being sent from the BIOS to a hardware component.
DO THIS FIRST - Perform a hard resetIf a PC suddenly fails to boot properly, you should
perform a hard reset as the first procedure.
- Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove all USB devices and media cards. You want to test the computer not the accessories!
- Disconnect the AC power adapter, remove the battery, and then press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds .
- Reconnect the AC power adapter (but do not connect the battery), Press the Power button,Look for glowing LEDs near caps lock and num lock keys, and Listen for sounds of a disk drive and fan turning.
