thermostat location Where do you find the thermostat on a 91 vw cabriolet? It is over heating and we thought qwe would start with the thermostat but we can't find it. It's on the waterpump.

overheating i have clean it out any ideas? maybe thermostat, or bad water pump, maybe a pluged up heater core, take hoses off blow them backwards to see if any thing comes out.
