Do the part numbers 75163.3268 and 75162.2566 both appear on the 1995 model as they are on the 2000 model wheel and carrier bearings?

SOURCE: wheel bearings

if they are the same as the older models.... SKF #6005-2RS Measurements - 25mm ID x 47mm OD x 12mm width . It is often not recommended to remove the bearing and then reinstall it because there is a concern that the bearing could be damaged in its removal. This is because the bearing is installed by the outer race which does not put pressures or impacts on the bearings themselves but in the removal process the bearings are driven out by the inner race which puts a lot of force impact, and stresses on the bearings. If the bearings are the ones that I listed (I believe they probably are), then you may be able to find them at a local automotice parts supplier such as Auto Zone, Advance Auto, or other place, as this size is fairly common. Also, if you have the newer style spacer in the hub, you may need a blind bearing puller because you simply cannot push the spacer over to get to the inner race of the bearing. There is one notch on one side of the spacer, and it is a bit of a PITA to catch the lip of the inner race with a punch or screwdriver. Here is a picture of the newer style spacer that has ribbing on it....,,,

What is the part number for a carrier bearing on 1995 chevy camaro

(a little late in responding - but maybe someone will need this info).

If you mean the carrier bearing on the driveshaft - then you must have a v6 model. I would advise to skip replacing it and instead purchase a 1pc shaft (no carrier bearing). The cb is located near a Hi-Speed CV Joint which make changing the carrier a little difficult.
A new replacement 1pc driveshaft costs about $225.00
The carrier bearing itself may run $40-$140. ( http://www.fortwayneclutch.com/index.php/driveshaft-parts/carrier-support-bearings/gm/1993-2002-chevy-camaro-v6-pontiac-firebird-v6-carrier-bearing-new-f-body-carrier-bearing-for-v6-models-pn-s-3r80-40.html ) - for reference...
You could also check a junk yard for a 1pc oem shaft (most shafts there are bent or have bad uj's and will cost $$ to have fixed )
>1994-2002 f-body models all have the same length from the seal of the transmission to the center of the uj @ the diff.
>when looking for an oem 1pc shaft you will find them in Steel and Aluminum. Slight differences in length when measuring center to center of the universal joints ( 40 7/8" - 40 1/2" ) - but the slip yokes vary in length, weighted / non-weighted..etc = this will make it appear the the shafts are different.
>>watch out for oem shafts with the weighted slip yoke from manual 6spd v8 models. This slip yoke may hit the trans/exhaust mount that is used on v6 models.!!

Rear end makes rowing sound above 30 miles per hour also tjere is a leak of rear end grease on the left rear wheel.

THE LEAK is an axle seal leaking the noise is bearings in rear end could be axle bearing of carrier/pinion bearings while driving shift weight of truck side to side see if noise changes if so it is axle bearing if not then most likely differential bearings

1995 Ford Ranger whines. Three mech's, fuel pump, carrier bearings, wheel bearings. Who is closest?

You need to post the symptoms of your problem. And let us tell you what we think. But for what its worth here I go. Electric fuel pumps howl or moan. Carrier bearings on make noise when vehicle is moving down the road and make a squalling noise when the bearing is going bad but may be interpreted as a whine. Wheel bearings near the same as carrier bearings but they usually grind. So my guess is alternator or pulley bearing since they whine.

Im looking at a new front wheel 4 my 99 nighttrain what size is the existing bearing ? will a later wheel fit?

I'm pretty sure your '99 model uses the 3/4" wheel bearing while the later year models use a 1" bearing. I'm not sure what year they changed on your Softail. By looking for a change in the part number for the wheel bearing in a parts book will tell you what year they changed.

Good Luck

A grinding noise 47-53 mph on slight climb appearing to come from o/side wheel or drie shaft. The brake pads are good. This is on a 2001 xk8 Jaguar and only occurs at the mentioned speed and not when...

Check the Wheel Bearing and the hubs as those models having common problem on the Wheel bearings as well as the Bearing carrier. Try to investigate ASAP as the Carrier might get broken and will give you big damage.

Jeep wheel bearings and rear carrier bearings

As long as the diff itself was not noisy and there aren't a bunch of metal flakes floating in the lube, I suggest you pretty much leave the carrier alone. Just do the axle work, use good lube in there and be done with it.

Will the front wheel off of 2000 sportster fit 1995 sportster?

Hello, No a 2000-up Wheel has "Sealed Bearings" and the Lip around where the Disc Rotor Bolts is Larger (2.200") than the 1995 Wheel which has a Lip around where the Disc Rotor Bolts is 2.000". Also The width of the 2000-up Wheel will be a little Wider (about .200" = a little under 1/4"). The Wheels from 1984-1999 will be the Same for the Same Model of Harley. All Harley Wheels from 1973-1999 used 3/4" "Timken" Bearing (Tapered Caged Rollers), Wheels 2000-Up used "Sealed Bearings" 3/4" & 1" I.D. and in 2008 some started using 25mm Wheel Bearings. Anything is Possible if you Own a Machine Shop and want to Bore out your 1995 Disc Brake Rotor I.D. to 2.220" and Make New Axle Spacers and Machine off aprox. .100" off each side of the Hub. Thanks Bob @ Bob's Cycle Supply Since: 1976
