The ride between the two would be very unnoticeable. I have ran both at one time or the other(looks mainly) and could not really tell any difference. Both felt the same as far as smoothness and handling in the corners. The only difference was really in the looks. If you are looking for a smoother ride, I would recommend a larger dia wheel, something like 15 or 16's, but of course that means lots more money than just tires. You could also just go to a very high grade of tire- Michelin or Bridgestone or one of the other well known tires out there. You will find that the lower mile tires vs tires that are rated for extended wear, will ride smother and hold the road better( they are softer) but wear a lot faster. You may also consider putting on a higher grade shock and strut to help smooth out the road. The factory shocks and struts are O.K. , but after market ones are far superior. I hope this helps.

The 70 has a higher aspect ratio so it will ride smoother becasue it is taller between the wheel and the ground.

go to tirerack.com and compare tires and make sure you stay close to your original tire diameter or speedo will be off and tire fit may be close. Stay within 1/2 inch

My toyota corolla 2002 is making noise once ignited (like a diesel engine) @ 1500 RPM. Then after some few minutes, the RPM goes down to 850-1000 and the noise ceases. it may take upto 5 min. to cease. if driven before the nose ceases, once the gear has been engaged, the noise becomes very loud and distressful but after reaching 30MPH, it ceases again only to be heard once you've to the end of the journey, but not as loud but still heard. its 3 weeks now from the last service which included the air filter, oil filter, plugs and oil. kindly assist.

I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla and need to replace some body parts, etc. Wondering if a 2001 has interchangeable parts?

I am sorry but we have no cross reference books to look this up. Contact a local salavage yard or go online to contact one and tell them what you need and what years will fit.

Car jumps when put into drive or reverse why

Check the fluid and smell it, sounds like it may be burning up...if the fluid smells burnt do a fluid and filter on it, or a flush at a shop would even be better, you can also try putting in some Lucus Oil tranny treatment - available at walmart for 15 bucks - that usually helps a smoother shifting experience

I have a 2001 toyota corolla and I am wondering if a wheel from a voltswagon golf with 4 wheel studs would fit my toyota corolla with 4 wheel studs? Pleas if you can give me an detailed answer thank you

The VW wheels measure 14x6 57.1 and your corolla wheels are 14x5.5 54.1, the vw wheels are 1/2" wider but as long as you use the proper size tires for your corolla you wont run into any problems. also the bolt patterns will match they are both 4x100.
