check sump oil level--excessive oil level will cause this
have a compression test done on the engine (both wet and dry) to determine engine condition---excessive blow by from worn rings , bore or cracked piston will cause this --- clean/ replace air filter as if there is a low pressure area after the filter , it helps suck oil vapor from the sump
check oil level in sump. You may have to remove the sump to check for cracked oil pick up line . Check oil pump pressure regulator . replace oil filter as it may be blocked and dropping the oil straight back to the sump.
Hi, Before buying the gasket I recommend you try to tighten all the oil sump bolts. The oil sump gasket would not cost a lot, but can you get at the oil sump & remove it easy before you try if so it is easy to replace ensure clean both surfaces clean & oil free before replacing the sump gasket. One litre in the primary of Formula+, one liter Formula+ in gearbox, approx. 2.4 litres engine oil HD360 in sump. Look underneath and find sump. Engine oil drain plug is on left side of sump near bottom and back and is in horizontal. Gearbox drain plug is to the right side of sump about half way and points up. Torque is 14 lbs-ft with DRY CLEAN threads. Use new O rings on bung plugs, part #:11105. Warning: very easy to strip these threads.
it may be sludged in the sump blocking the pickup you need to take the sump pan off and clean it and the oil pump pick up do not drive with the oil light on will damage the engine
Did you have changed a cylinder head gasket? Possible turn around. If not need to change oil pump.It is easy.Just remove the sump but before that drain the oil because........Get new sump gasket.What about oil pressure lamp?Coming ON? If the engine runing and the lamp is ON change oil pump.
