2004 TVS Victor GL has so many problems

The Victor GL was the first bike from the "Victor" series. The bike was loaded with 109cc 4-stroke engine, which was later known for its fuel efficiency and robustness. However the style quotient of the bike was a little low but TVS had compensated the same by launching the stylish "Victor GLX" later on with 125cc.

the voltage should be 14.5 -14.8 volts dc maximum
anything higher boils a battery and destroys it
voltage check is done at around the 1500rpm and should remain at the settings regardless of the high rpm of the engine
indicates a faulty voltage regulator or a shorting wiring problem

Thanks for your question, for mileage issue there are lot of fact. better go a good workshop and tell your problem. they will find out what need in your bike. at my opinion it will be best...

MY TVS VICTOR GL NOT GIVING MILEAGE AFTER TUNING

1): check the voltage in the battery .

2):check the terminals of the battery ,wether they are not loosened or corroded. 3):check for the continuity of the plug wire
4): next check the spark plug gap the gap of the spark plug is usually provided in the manual at the maintenance section 5):use quality replacement parts. 6):if everything above mentioned are good
then check for air filter and next
check whether the cylinder head gaskets are not worn out .
and finally none of them work check for the compression of the cylinder
and if there is not adequate pressure not found
inspect the cylinder bore
and inspect the piston rings
whether they might be a faulty And finnaly check for the timing chain

My TVS victor - 2004 model has started misfiring recently (that is a big noise from the silencer) when applying brakes or during deceleration. Can anyone please suggest what could be done about it??

May be the spark plug is worn out
try changing that..

If Bike Pick up is very Low :-

Check the two spar plugs if both are fine and if not then replace them.

If Bike's pick up is very low :-

Replace the cluth plates and the pressure if the problems persists after changing the spark plugs.

If you witness low speed riding knocking sound :-
Clean the carburettor and the air filter and this is also a problem due to damaged clutch plates.
