This is an indian bullet .and belive it or not is not the same as the old English version .Sometimes you are lucky and the conversion is fine but on the odd occasion the plates don't seem to free themselves too easely .try sanding down the pads ,that sometimes does the trick .

My 93 sentra 5 speed wont come out of 4th gear

If the shift linkage is not binding on the outside of the transaxle, then something inside like a shift fork has broken. The transaxle will have to be removed for repair. Such is the way with 20 year old cars where old things break, bad luck for you. It will be an expensive repair. An alternative is a used 5 speed from a salvager. That and a new clutch could have you going again in short order.

Noise near gearbox while running and shifting the gearsin roysl enfield 350cc

The reason could be that the gear teeth have worn out &/or the chain & sprocket are worn out. Both of them depend on the condition of the clutch plates and the oil level in the gearbox.

This problem is common in all Enfield Bullet 350 cc unless maintained every 6 months or so since two levers operate the gears(up & down). The chain sprocket being the main culprit. I have observed this by seeing the Army uses only Bullets & my Dad being an Officer I got plenty opportunity in driving them....................................sodeep

Shifting problems

I really have to lift up hard and fast to get it to go into 3rd. My neutral finder is hard to press as well. Any suggestions?I'm having trouble shifting from 2nd to 3rd as well and sometimes to 4th. It starts to happen after I've been riding for 10 mins or so. I found that it helps to get my foot way under it so that I'm shifting using the top arch of my foot but sometimes it doesn't matter what I do, it takes 3-4 tries to shift. I adjusted my clutch but had very little effect. I tightened my chain too. I tried searching shifting on the forum and found mostly left to right shift conversion and down-shifting threads.,,,

False neutral

There is pretty much a false neutral between every gear on an Enfield. You need to ease the gear up or down and do it by feel more than a hard up or down movement
