I tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my jcb 3cx site-master. it wont move forward or reverse, engine is good both solenoids for forward and reverse work.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and works perfect!

Does it move but the speedo doesnt work properly or at all? Unusual or no gear changes? Suspect the Vehicles Speed Sensor (VSS) on the gearbox.
If it doesnt move in any gear check the autobox fluid level, failing that get it checked for copdes, could be a few things

well you can but it is a bit more difficult than that as you will need allignment tool to replace and also the might be excess tension and you might need a pulling tool also to remove. it is very unusual that the mechanism drops into the gearbox though? well without effecting the performance of gearbox such as whines and creaks?

Sounds like your transmission is slipping or your torque converter is bad.---check the transmission fluid level and see if it smells burnt and discolored.
