SOURCE: Engine compression for 2002 125 CR Honda, 125lbs?

that sounds pretty decent, it is 7 years old so there will be less compression now than when new, obviously beacuse of wear. but 125lbs is good.

SOURCE: How much engine oil does a 94 HONDA CR 250 2

nearly evey bike has oil capacity on clutch cover near the oil filler, should say 1500cc or whatever. with a two stroke it's only gearbox oil so not much in yours probably a couple of pints, four strokes hols a lot more, always check level are filling and running for a few seconds, some oil galleries won't fill just by pouring in at the filler. you should have a dip stick or an oil level screw in the casing.

SOURCE: how do i find out what year the used honda cr 250

Check out these two links. It looks like you will need to call a dealer with the engine # to get the year exactly. The engine number matches a portion of the VIN which will identify the year.

SOURCE: I HAVE A 2003 HONDA

hi, the first thing to check is that the spark plug cap is ok unscrew the spark plug cap off the ignition wire coming from the coil, once its off check that the end of the ignition wire their is some wire visible that the spark plug cap screws into if their is no wire visible then you can cut about half an inch of the ht lead or untill you see a good bit of wire once you have done this then try starting.

If how ever the wire is ok you need to check you have a spark going to the plug to do this removethe spark pluk then push it back onto the spark plug cap then rest the little prong at bottom of spark plug and something metal on the engine such as the cylinder head then kick the bike over and look at the plug to ensure you have a good bright soark.

If you have no spark then this could be down to the imobiliser if you have one fitted or it could even be that the coil has packed up this would need testing and replacing if needed.

If how ever you have a good spark at the plug then this would indicate one of a couple things the first would be a problem with the fuel system but if yours is injection and not carb type then this wont be the cause, if it is carb type then let me know ok.

Or the other problem you could have is piston ring failure or cylinder head gasket failure this would also need testing with compression tester.

Let me know if you have a good spark at the plug and if yours is carb in injection then i can assist you further ok.

Let me know how you get on ok

Kick starter stays back when starting

I would think the kickstarter spring, which is located inside the sidecover is broken, yep you would have to drain the oil..and take the side cover off, so you would also need a new side cover gasket, and more oil...and the spring...hope this helps.
