indicates bad battery or dirty battery terminals or loose

Could be that the Petrol has gone “off” use fresh fuel that may help

If you are turning the gas off when turning off engine and gas is leaking onto the plugs you may need to rebuild carbs and put in new needle and seat!may want to also look into proper float level!but please make sure your gas is always off when engine is not running,Hondas have always had issues with fuel leaking into cylinders and on plugs when left on.

Probably a fuel cut off switch needs resetting also check the Red kill switch

Check the alternator and regulator/rectifier

whats the compression ? NO less than 100psi !! when were the crank seals last replaced ? is fuel gettin to the spark plug ? carb clean and new fuel ??

Ground wire or bad connection on pump wire to wire harnesses.

normal charge should be 12v - 15v if it is above that then replace regulator

check choke working fully , check plug cap resistances not too much and condition and gap on plugs !

Faultly ignition switch? loose coupling ? blown fuse. check these first and let me no.

Lean fuel mixture, check the MAF or MAP sensor.

Check the follow first:When you turn the key on and your kill switch (right hand switch) is in RUN position, 1) Do you hear your fuel pump priming for 3 seconds?2) Does your dashboard indications come on?Pressing the starters switch on your right hand switch, do you hear the starter motor working and cranking the engine?

The first thing I would check is the battery. Do a check with a volt meeter and make sure you have 12.5 volts. Then do a load test to see what the CCA's are. If you have a dead cell you can have full volts but not enough CCA's to start the bike. Also check all ground cables and for corrosion. for the rich problem, is it standard with genuine exhaust and new air filter?
The random stopping is probably a loose wire(clock reset), check the plug behind the ignition switch, and make sure the kill button is good

try a half can of see foam to a full tank of gas then ride it for at least 30 miles to work it through the system getting on it real hard once in awhile so it can clean out the system.

it depends on the diameter of the carb inlet,the space between the carb and frame ,will the new filter fitting match up to the carb dia,

I am having the same problem, the electric gas gauge turns on while pressing the ignition switch. once the bike is idling the screen is blank where the fuel level should be displayed.
