How do you turn off the service interval bleeper on my 2007 vw polo

expensive from the sound of this ,under the dash is the power steering electric motor ,its playing up ? could be a bad earth connection this i do get at regular intervals .

Some service indicators can be reset and some owners handbooks give instructions for doing so. Some indicators can only be reset using dedicated diagnostic equipment.
VW use both types depending on whether the vehicle is programmed for normal service intervals or longlife intervals. I suggest you seek advice from your local dealer.

Its ok i've decided to tackle this problem by myself as its not a priority @ this moment in time.

did you change the cartaire?
may the oil bumber is dirty and this make the oil light to go on and make beebing and the main reason is that when you change the cartaire some of silicon enter inside the oil and make problems to the oil bumber....

You can get away with an allen key, or with an allen key type ratchet. 8mm for South African models.

There are many number of reasons for this problem...but a VERY common one is a faulty thermo sensor which controls air / fuel ratio.
