Well first i would check all the water hoses in the engine compartment for cracks and leaks then check around the radiater for leaks if you don't see any water leaking from the hoses or the radiater then try to see if you see water coming from the water pump behind the cooling fan if the water is leaking from behind the cooling fan then it is most likely your water pump

My 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo is running hot, should I believe it is the water pump? I still have heat.

Yes a bad water pump will definitely cause it to run hot. you'll probably be able to hear it as well as a whinning noise from the front of the engine. Also check for really low or incorrect fluid. jeeps are know for bad water pumps and leaky radiators. the heater pump is a seperate pump from the water pump. Also check for radiator fan opperation while the vehicle is stopped. If the fan is not coming on, it could be a fuse, relay, or intake air temp sensor.

you may need a head gasket. a shop can use an indicator dye to tell if there is a combustion chamber leak that may only be aparrent when the vehicle is hot.

05 jeep cherokee is leaking antifreeze. the car was making a clanking sounds for a few days, that noise has now stopped and it is now over heating and leaking fluid. the heater is also now switching...

It could be the water pump, the air switches from hot to cold because the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system so as you run low on water you lose heat, if the water pump has siezed you are in danger of losing the serpentine belt, so don't wait to get it fixed.

My 2004 Jeep Cheokee loredo is running hot. Could

Could be several things,

1. thermostat

3. fan motor is bad (is the fan running when at temp?)
4. fan motor relay

Is it running hot all the time or just when setting idle?

Overheating issue

You need to get a pressure check on the cooling system. I suspect a bad head gasket. Engine compression leaking into a water passage would force coolant back out of the engine. Hope this helps.

Small leak in a 98 jeep grand cherokee near the bottom pulley on front of engine..what is it?

If its leaking coolant, likely it is coming from the water pump above the lower pulley and running down to there. Look carefully and use a light.
If leak is oil, the pulley seal is leaking.
