Hi, i've been told the turbo on my 2006 !.8 Golf TDI has blown and need a new one. How much would a new one cost please? Thanks

are u sure all ure sensors is pluged in on ur turbo pypes?because a high presure switch will be on the turbo side

check the turbo hoses, they are renound for dry cracking, very hard to see at first glance

If somebody replaced the turbocharger with a new one, you must check up all command vacuum lines, the entire air intake system (air pressure pipes, intercooler, connections, EGR - throttle vane, ...), and also turbocharger and EGR command solenoid valves (three pieces). Could be also MAF sensor defective! Here you have the vacuum air pipes connection picture for Audi A4 1.9 TDI (AJM engine):

change the turbo boost valve

can be other things,we see a few that require throttle body changes,it would be easier to get the car plugged in and see what the fault code is,if you let me know i will be able too help...

i have problem vith car,my car is golf v 1.9 tdi motor code is BKC...number of code for problem is P0642 ("Sensor Reference Voltage "A" Circuit Low")

Maybe there is a hole in one of the parts.
