Hi, you can drive the car with this code, and there is no safety or drivability issue. The Jeep uses a pump to test the fuel vapor emission control system, and your pump is acting up. So the computer will not be able to test your system for vapor leaks.
Please let me know if you would like troubleshooting procedures to determine the exact problem, and thanks for using FixYa.

Trouble Code: P1494 EVAP Leak Detection Pump Switch Or Mechanical Fault
Possible Causes:

LDP switch signal circuit is open or shorted to ground LDP switch power circuit is open (test power to Fused Ignition) LDP vacuum hose is clogged, loose or restricted LDP assembly is damaged or has failed (the switch has failed)

What is the on board prcedure for code ck, 2002 Caravan

Hook it up to a scanner and see what codes are in the system. Most part houses will check it at no charge but will not clear the code. Depending on what code is retrieved, depends on what you will do next. Some codes are soft codes that will not require immediate attention like small evap leak, while others will require immediate attention such as a p0302 which is a misfire on the number two engine cylinder.

Jeep grand cherokee p0155 code p1494

For the P0155 code, check the fuse for the O2 heater circuit.
The P1494 has to do with the EVAP leak detection pump pressure switch. Or the switch is faulty, or there is a large leak. Do you hear any hissing sounds under the jeep?

What to do if antifrezee or water are runing in to the oil of jeep grand cherokee ,,????

If you accidentally poured antifreeze into the motor then change oil and filter immediately. If you discovered antifreeze in the oil then you have a serious internal engine problem that will require immediate diagnosis at a qualified shop or service center. Don't drive the Cherokee at all. Have it towed.

Fix P1494 code

This code is caused by the leak detection pump for the evaporative emissions control system, this is a common fault in your year and model, there are factory bullentins about the code, to replace the pump do the following. As noted in the procedure pay close attention to the condition of the vacuum lines to the pump.

The LDP, (leak detection pump) is located in the left/front corner of engine compartment below the air cleaner housing. It is mounted to left/front inner fender sheet metal. The LDP and LDP filter are replaced (serviced) as one unit.
