Don't know if you mean locate this pump to purchase or to remove from car. Just Websearch diagrams for the power steering pump location and add the year and model.
In the Gas Tank.. it is electric. You will need a book if you are going to do this yourself.. the last time I had to replace a fuel pump was on a 95 Ford Contour.. It cost me $600.. if you know what you are doing go for it.. keep a fire extinguisher handy... remember the fuel system is under pressure.. I currently have a Caravan 93 and it uses the same fuel delivery system.. Jim
well.. look like the problem is no the pump, is the fluid your mechanic is using. this p/s pump use a "FORD PREMIUM POWER STEERING FLUID". Flush the system and replace the fluid. after do that no more noise. warranty!!.
check/replace the starter relay switch in the relay box under the hood. The relay box is located on the front right of the engine compartment. easy fix, inexpensive part if that is the problem.
This can be a power steering belt loose or the power steering pump malfunction. To check if it's a belt problem with engine running open the hood and pour a small ampunt of water (1/4 gal or a bit less) over the belt located on the left side of the engine if the sound lowers then it's most likely the belt only.
