Just go to Google and type in: 1994 Honda Prelude Problems. You should get some results. Or type in a variation of that line till you get satisfactory results.

Where is a crankshaft position sensor located?

I don't see a parts listing for a Crankshaft position sensor...are you sure that's what you are looking for? They are usually located in one of two places on any car, either behind the harmonic balancer or in the middle of the block above the oil pan, usually on the backside of the motor.

I drive a 1989 Prelude that can't go a week without experiencing some electrical problem that keeps it from starting up. When I turn the key, a distorted beeping sound is all that comes out of it....

forget that ,, replace the ignition switch, hondas are known for ignitions going out, your intermittent supply of power is from the switch itself

Camry or Prelude for mechanic school?

I would be a bit leary of the Prelude, if it's loosing anti-freeze. Could be a blown head gasket or an anti freeze leak. Honda's are generally great cars for traveling and there alot of aftermarket performance parts for Preludes. Definately investigate the use of anti-freeze.

IF YOU GOING TO DO THE WORK YOURSELF, YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE A REPAIR MANUAL FOR IT AT YOUR LOCAL AP STORE. READ UP ON IT AND GET PREPARED. SOME ALTERNATORS HAVE TO TAKEN OUT FROM UNDERNEATH.
