For the time being, put a pillow or two behind you and get to a local pick and pull junkyard and try to locate another switch.

Have a 1991 bonneville le has to sit for a few hours before it will restart

You may need to check fuel pressure after the engine warms up and shuts off. Maybe the fuel pump gets hot and stops. Have you checked for spark after it dies?

2002 Pontiac Bonneville. Both passenger and driver side heated seats are not working. Each failed at different times (months apart), and the fuses for each unit (16 for drv and 31 for psnger) are good....

I have a 2005 Bonneville and lost my driver seat heater. The typical problem is a broken wire or connection in the seat section of the seat. If you're lucky, it may be a simple break like mine was; under the seat.
I pulled my seat out to work on it. Here's a picture of my broken wire towards the rear:

zeevert_12.jpg But, that didn't fix my problem. I also had a bad module. The control module is the same for both seats, so I was able to switch the modules and get my driver seat heater working. Here's a picture of the module. The module cost at the dealer is about $80-100(?)

Where is the fuse box for my 1986 pontiac bonneville

It is under the dashboard on the driver side. There is a small cover just above and to the left of the brake pedal that you pull down. The fuse panel is behind that cover. Open the driver door, slide the seat back as far as you can, and lay on your side so that you can get under the steering wheel.
