Try turning key on and off a few times before you crank it. If that helps, check your fuel system. My info for fuel pressure on 3.1L engine, key on engine off, 40.5--47 psi, use a fuel pressure gage to check.
Some times battery's are beon recharging that recharge wont do it, after you recharge battery turn your lights on, if very dim or dont come on, battery is no good replace it, also try to start it it if lights go off, replace battery.
The starter is most likely the problem, tap on the starter lightly with a hammer while trying to start the engine, dont get run over doing this it will take two people,if the engine starts, the starter needs replacing.
do you have spark? may be the timing. if it turns and turns and wont start, take off a plug wire.(wear heavy gloves) hold it close to the plug and have someone turn the motor. If it sparks, not the timing, if it not, timing belt is gone
