There are to pumps
Delivery and Transfer Pumps
I will look over my wiring diagrams tomorrow ,and get back to you
Discribe in detail, the stalling and drivabiltiy issues
Also, have you had a lot of COP Ignition Coil problems or Throttle Body issues or ETC Failsafe?
Any code issues in last year?
V6 or V8
Did you check fuel pressure on rail ,at idle?
It is an V8, and it will not run at all went the fuse blows. I replaced the fuse and it ran good for 2 days and it happen again and would not start untill I replaced the fuse. I have replaced three coils during the life of the car, which has 142000 miles on it. Fixed one rear window, other than that the car has been a good one. I think, I will replace the fuel pump, with the miles on the car it could be bad.
With the work shop manual and wiring diagrams,I can not determine, how you will figure out which pump is going bad. The #17 Fuse goes to the Fuel Pump Relay,in the dist box, with the fuse.
I can not determine the wiring to the two pumps.
If you were to scope the pumps or even check current draw, you would want to do each one separately,(somehow)
Sorry I did not get back with you sooner, I replaced the electric fuel pump on the driver side and the car is running great. It was a job doing it myselve, had to remove the exhaust, drive shalf and a pan. I did save a lot of money. Thanks for your input. Mike
The drivers side, is called a jet pump transfer module
How do you determine which pump was bad?
Also, hope you marked the drive shaft positioning before unbolting it.
Don't want a balancing issue
