Inside lights and electonic locks will not work unless the ingnition is switched on. Problem occurred while we were changing the radio on our 2000 Dodge Caravan.

My guess is a fuse in the fuse panel at the far passenger side of the dash,you have to open the passenger door to check it or ....is the interior light over ride switch above the rear view mirror in the correct position for interior lighting?

There is no relay covering all 3 of these! Most likely a fuse blown, check fuse box inside and under hood of vehicle!

Dave, Nuetral Saftey switch will not make the accessories not work. Sounds like a loose or corroded, battery cable.. Check that first.. If the cables are tight and clean.. Check the condition of the battery.. Sams club or Costco will check it for you for free.. Possibly the auto parts stores will too.

Someone will need to check the individual circuits - - could be a faulty body computer or a relay among other things.

I would check the fuses first.

shorted wires behind the radio, most likely the wire for the radio memory.

Sounds like body control module. Did water get inside the car recently?

Sounds like the trailer towing might be a fluke occurance I would say that you Igntion switch may have a burnt contact inside it.I have replace alot of these at my Garage.

there should be a main fuse in-line from the battery. try checking that. if that is good, it might be the ignition switch.

you have short between the radio and the interior light.
you need to get a diagram of the electric system and trace it out.
if you pull the fuse for the interior light, and run the CD what happen?
