Where is the fuel pump on a 1988 toyota corrolla station wagon

I don't know if your fuel injected or carb? If your fuel injected, probably electric fuel pump, in the gas tank. If not fuel injected, probably a mechanical fuel pump, under the hood, note picture.

You must put it up in the air and have someone run the engine while you attempt to locate the leak.

I?ve had many blower fan motor failures in such a short time?

This is Typical around this YEAR, if the Blower Resistor Is ok they should give you a Few Years service. The VOLTAGE READINGS Are GOOD that your Friend Checked. Be Sure the GROUNDS are RENEWED on these Vehicles as POOR GROUNDS are Pretty Typical for failure also around that Year

I have Toyota Camry 1988 wagon and need instruction

On this old of a model there is no way to depressurize the system without breaking open a fitting. The easiest way to do this is to lightly crack open the fittings at the fuel filter and let the pressure bleed off into a jug. After the pressure is released you can safely unscrew, remove, replace and put back together. Do keep in mind once the new filter is installed the engine may crank immediately then die and it may require several moments of cranking to start due to the excess air in the system. Hope this helps, good luck!
