1995 Beretta: The passenger side door handle broke while opening...

If 2 door coupe handle on back side of door..they r known to break..if old style look under handle u will c 2 metal if broke only replace handle

Sounds like a real pile not worth the expense of repair

You could buy a tougher replacement handle at an auto store so that this isn't an issue again, or it is fairly straightforward to remove the panel and reattach the handle.

You could always break a window! You could try and wedge one of the windows open enough to stick a coat hanger or something in to try and unlock the passenger side. Good luck

i have the same problem on my 1995 grand prix gtp 2 door coupe...the only differnce is that i had door poppers installed and took off the lock rod, turnes out the solenionds cant pull the latch open, so i need stronger solenoids. but my door wont open either...if anyone has any fixes to this problem let me knows ASAP!! i cant crawl thru the passenger side in the middle of a S. Dak. winter...

look carfully and you see a rod just pull that up and it will open

I believe there is a cable which connects the handle to the latch, they are pron to breaking.

you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. Then pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything.Sounds like the linkages, or the gears of the regulator are done

easy fix , just remove inside door cover, and install new handle, but handle broke because of bad hendge bushings making door hard to open, driver side ususlly first to brake then passenger door a year later. need body shop to replace door bushings
