the best way to do is dropping the engine and the transmission together with the sub frame
disconnect the rack and pinion, struts and brake lines
then you can separate the engine from the transmission once it's out.

There should be a code stored to tell you what cylinder is missing. Then most likely you have an injector issue or you have a vacuum leak near that cylinder or if you have a EGR valve it could be stuck a little open.

Also ignition module or coil depending on how this car is set up could be a problem.

If none of this solves your problem then the only other options are your going to have to get it diagnosed because you will need tools to check compression for valve or head gasket issues..

Or if your lucky an injector service might clean them up and help the worst one from causing a misfire if they recommend a service first.
