There is an anti-theft system tied into your radio. When the battery goes dead, you have to reset your radio with a code. there is a code in your manual that has to be typed in. If you don't have the manual, go to the dealer. They will find the code, for free. Then, look in the manual. You have to type in the code, then hit a button or two, then the radio will come right back on. then you can reset the clock too.

How to manually open the Nav DVD player disk door - Open button won't work. 2008 Accord

Sounds like the buttons are dirty. Remove the unit and remove the case. Clean the switch contacts with electrical switch / contact cleaner spray. Clean the connectors as well. If that doesn't work, take in for car audio repair.

2001 Hyundai XG300 radio and digital clock/mpg reader above radio are not working have checked all fuses taken radio out checked connections cannot find anything also since this has happened the inside...

This sounds like a bad wiring harness ground behind the dash, on the left side of the vehicle. Find the ground wire, and ensure it is not loose, or contaminated. Use a wire brush to expose the metal and give a metal-to-metal contact surface, then re-secure it.

Clock and radio both stopped working at the same

Your mechanic is right..the circuit for the clock runs through the radio, and if the radio dies ..so does the clock

Radio/Clock reset and dome lights come on

I have no clue what's going on with the interior lights coming on. You might want to check the switch in the door that tells the car if the door is open or not. As for the radio cutting out, check the connections from it to the car. When I installed my new radio, I slid it in wrong and it pulled apart one of the wires I had twisted together and that kept my radio from working, so it could be a loose, not broken connection that would cause intermittent operation. It is also possible to have to do with the switch I mentioned. I know some cars the radio will continue to operate even once the keys are removed until the door opens and then the radio stops. I wish I could help more, but these are things to potentially check out.

Did you read your owners manual? Not sure what kind of radio it has, but most of the ford radios from this era work like this: Hold down the clock button then ussually if you push seek down it will advance the hours, and if you push seek up it will advance the minutes.
