My 2007 jeep battery went flat after replacing the battery it wants a code.my book says it should be on the sale papers.i cant find it.where do i punch it in

in the cluster right your eyes are on the cluster and it shows errors right? the nav the radio where?
odometer messages, VIC or EVIC display messages, where?
try camera photos if you cant tell where eyes were.

is car USA CAR?
which engine, is engine gas or diesel,what size, liters.
is trans automatic?
is car 4wd or 2wd.?
we cant see car nor what country its in so,....
books on jeeps MATCH that.

i scanned the usa book for you and no such code exists
but cars not in usa, have there own codes, and book.
so not telling country , makes this very hard.

even radio, nav, cell, reverse sense and more, vast codes.
why not tell where you saw it,?

Odometer or ABS?

You need to take your registration papers with your licence (licence is to prove YOU own the car) to a car dealer ie: Holden, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler and ask at the sales office for the SECURITY CODES FOR YOUR CAR, You'll receive your BCM security number, Car key number-Ignition, Radio security pin number and Radio serial number. These numbers belong to YOUR car and once you have them DON'T loose them because in Australia some dealers charge a fee and some don't.... Hope this helped....CHEERS..

and now a virtual blinker (called just software now)
just like cruise control, software only.

so when you move the lever, it closes a digital switch.
fixing thing works best first knowing now it works.'
unless rich and shot gun swaps are you style.
this jeeps, the blinker switch wire goes
steering controls SCM ,there.chapter 19
649ohms is the code for left (cav2 >cav3)
then SCM send data on to the network "Can-buss" complex.
if switch fails, then it cant cancel
ca1>2.>3, all there go open status, infinity
the SCM see that state and transmits the command, blinks off,.
the code is "neutral"

the cluster sees this command and killls left blink
why would left kill fail and not right, Impossible.same code.

then same command goes to front MIP box. to FCM
front control module. if it cant here the netural command it hangs.
the actual module name is"front controL"
so if you have no scan tool you are sunk.
scan it and there will be errors. I bet.

what can you do besides scan it
sure fuses, and rest battery.
pull battery neg lug,but may kiLLL radio (lost pass word)
i say fCM scrambled.
or scm same.
one of the other. if the cluster fails , scm
if cluster works (stops blinking then FCM failure

you will need the code . if you have you have your manual the factory code will be in it on a separate paper probably! could also be in your radio instructions! if you dont have these books you need to go to a hyundai dealer . does it come on and then go off ? if no lights at all in the screen it could be a fuse ! that is also in the book .if no book there are a number of sites on the web that will give you the layout of where they are, and which one is your radio fuse. hope this helps, and i am sorry i cant be more specific good luck,regards terry

Did you replace the battery and check the battery connections?

I own a 96 jeep cherokee classic and about 12 months ago had similar problem, I managed to find a manual  for sale. Contact your local auto shop and see if they sell a manual for it.
(also try local library as some stock these books for you to borrow or photocopy.)
