It could be as simple as a frayed belt hitting as the engine is turning.
First visually inspect the belt.
Then get someone to assist you and rev the car while you listen for the noise under the hood.
A long screwdriver is sometimes helpful if you touch parts of the engine and components while the engine is running (carefully) to see if you can identify where the ticking is coming from.
If it's a valve you ought to be able to hear/feel it through the long screwdriver when you touch the engine valve cover.
make sure engine fluids are properly filled.
also, sometimes it can be a fan component that ticks even after the car shuts off.
You have some kind of a leak in the cooling systemDo you smell antifreeze when your inside the vehicle dose the heat work alright It may also be an engine vacuum leak you need to start it look under the hood and listen to where the hissing noise is comeing from if its cooling you should see antifreeze see if the floor is wet inside it could be the heater core and check vacuum lines for splits cracks on disconnected lines Ycould check to see if the radiator is holding pressure take a towel and turn the cap see if its under pressure but its going to be hot don;t get burned
No this is normal. This whine you hear is the fuel pump turning to pump fuel. Try not to run it under a 1/4 of tank to much though because if you do and you run out of fuelit can burn the fuel pump out. Chris J.C. Towing
Maybe a stray leaf, twig or other small object has been sucked into the ventilation duct, touching the centrifugal fan.
You need to pull off ducts around fan and inspect.
yes...your engine belt is little bit lose that's y its causing noise...and hope when u speed up..it will stop squealing ..right?? so just tight your engine belt little bit and it will solve your problem in a min...take care n have a safe journey...n also if it help...rate it plz
failing that go to auto zone they can show you the location and quote the parts price too
remem ber to turn on wipers and turn on ignition dont start the car look under hood listen for winding noise locate noise locate wiper motor
if making wiring noise remove and re conect wiper arms inside as they are prone to poping off if over loaded like when frozen to wind screen they pop the conector rather than burn the motor out ]
Try checking the heat shields on the exhaust pipe up front under the car. Alot of times they will loosen up, and begin to rattle. You can ither remove them, or try to clamp them.
