Car won't turn over, but runs when I pop the clutch

It's just the blower motor control processor , it's not the A/C . Unless the compressor clutch is engaged an the engine is running . Chevy Trailblazer EXT Blower Motor Won Turn Off

the hydraulic slave cylinder may have let go and will need replacing. its also possible that the clutch pressure plate broke or the clutch plate. you don`t say how many miles you have on the clutch. you also don`t say if it won`t go into gear with the engine running, which indicates clutch, or with the engine off.

This symptom is usually caused by a bad connection at one of the main battery cables. Will the car start with a jump?

There is a switch connected to the clutch that is not hooked up.

Most compressors will not turn on if the system is low or have too much refrigerant. I do not know if you have an electrical problem, but the compressor clutch could be froze. The clutch is the piece that does not rotate when the a/c is not on. If you can not turn the clutch with your hand, you need a new compressor or a clutch. Do not try to turn the clutch with the car running. I will rotate when the engine is not running.

Clutch has gone or clutch cable broke

two things to check, One the belt itself, if its worn or loose,, then the clutch won't turn properly which will keep the AC from working correctly,, and second is the clutch itself, if your not sure of how to do this , you might want to just pop into a service mechanic, they usually will do a quick inspect for next to nothing

do you mean the truck won`t start and run or do you mean it won`t turn over with the key.if it won`t turn over with the key the you may have a starter problem.if you mean won`t start then it could be the fuel pump not working.with someone cranking the motor you should hear the fuel pump running with the gas cap off and listening at the filler neck.or hear it running listening under the truck at the gas tank.if you don`t hear it then you can hit the tack sharply with your hand or a rubber hammer,it hear the pump start to run then the fuel pump needs replacing.if not check the fuses under the dash and under the hood.if they are good then it may be the pump relay in the relay box under the hood and it should be marked on the box or lid.

Sounds like the neutral safety switch is going bad. Next time it does this to you with the engine off and the selector in neutral pop the clutch by pushing it down all the way then letting your foot slide off to the side so it's pops up and then see if you can start it. If this works you need to adjust the clutch and or replace the neutral safety switch on the transmission.
