Can you read wiring diagrams? If your saying brake lites don't work, are all brake lites out, I'm talking about the high mount and lower brake lites, both? If both are out have to check fuse, not only check fuse, use a test light and check voltage on fuse circuit. The high mount brake lite and lower brake lites are wired differently.
I want to add, if I'm looking at correct wiring diagram, the bcm is not involved.

Check your fuse and bulbs first. If they dont help, it is probably the brake switch. It is above your brake pedal. When you hit the brake, the switch is activated, therfore, turning on your lights.

CHECK DRL FUSE MAKE SURE ITS IN PLACE TIGHT.IF FUSE GOOD RELAY COULD BE GOING BAD.

Did you check the fuse?

Check with http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx. They may have the fuse location. I know some are behind the passengers kick panel. Hope this helps. Mike

some one has the bulb in backwords or check the wires they might have them crossed

I don't know the model year, to look up wiring diagram? Do you have a high mount brake lite? Does it work? The highmount and lower brake lites are routed differently, the lower brake lites are usually routed through the multifunction switch, the highmount brake lite isn't wired that way. Did you check voltage at brake switch for brake lites, that is a fused circuit.
Usually the lower brake lites and turn use the same bulb filament, but, not at the same time.
