The sensor for the coolant level should be attached right to the overflow tank... there should be a harness with wires coming out of the tank

2003 vw 18.t temp lights goes on but temp gauges read normal

If your coolant overflow is bubbling then regardless of what your gauge says you are having overheating issues. If your coolant is missing with no aparent leaks then you need to check your oil for a milky consistency and apearance which would most likely point to a blown head gasket. This would also explain overheating. Hope this helps

Gas gauge not reading

I would not post my email address on a website for the public to see.
The sending unit in the tank grounds the gauge with a resistor. The more gas in the tank the less resistance in the circuit. Someone would need to unplug the wiring harness at the tank and check the circuit with a meter.

The sensors get clogged with dirt and grime. Have to find a way to clean the sensor or replace it. As long as you have coolant and it goes off everything is fine. However you would never want to have a coolant leak and ignore the light. That would ruin your car.

Saturn is overheating, tried several things.. nothing is working.

how about the coolant temp sensor, they had alot of problems with that sensor and also the plug for it,some have two of these sensors side by side, one for the gauge and the other for the fan, i would replace these first and go from ther good luck,

It sounds as if you may have an air pocket in the system, alot of your saturn and gm vehicles have air bleed on or near the thermostat housing. As you are filling the system you will need to have this bleeder open until a steady stream of coolant comes out.
