to remove that support is recommended to use keys of extensions to be used by the top and back of the engine,,,recommended to release the air filter and battery sleeve for space

try autozone.com to see if they have your car listed for diagrams pictures and step by step instructions if your car is not listed then try your local library they have all the car manuals and even copy them for you

2002 mazda proteget vibrates when in reverse idles fine fine in drive

Check you motor mounts. With someone in the car and e-brake and main brake applied; Put vehicle in drive and bring RPMS UP and then let off. If you see the motor move excessively then the mount is broken on the side that lifts up. Put it in reverse and do the same. both mounts can be broken and there is usually a third mount so check them all.

What special tools are required to change the rear brakes of a 2002 mazda protege?

If it is a rear disc brake system, the only special tool would be an allen wrench:

Turn the manual adjustment gear counterclockwise with an Allen wrench to pull the caliper piston inward (turn until it stops).

If it is a drum type brake system...no special tools...just a screwdriver, pliers....

Where is the blower motor resistor on a 2002 mazda protege?

just remove the glove box and its right behind it just take the white pug out and the two phillips screws to remove the resistor out, replace with the new one and cool off!!!! Hope this helps
