SOURCE: remove driver's door panel

Start prying the door panel off with a flat head screw driver. It's held on by plastic clips, and a few screws. just pry it back and look in there with a flash light, you'll see. Just pry them out. If your lucky you'll only break a few. No real easy way to remove those.

Re-attaching the pull ******** the drivers door

Normally there are also other screws hidden behind chrome trims that you prise off with a plastic screwdriver. There are always plastic poppers all round the edges of the panel, use 2 screwdrivers slid in (one on each side of each popper) to lever the panel away from the door so that the popper comes out of the door.

Passger door wont open from the outside the door handle is loose

The door handle assembly may have just come loose from the door. It is attached from the inside and is accessed by removing the inner door panel. Removing inner door panels is usually not that difficult once you find out how they are attached. The first thing to do is locate any screws that are visible and remove them.(usually phillips head) I usually remove the ones along the bottom of the panel and then look for any hidden screws on the bottom of the armrest. If the door has electric windows then it might be necessary to remove the window switch to gain access to any remaining screws. Next, use a flat blade screw driver to pry the door panel away from the door. You can wrap the screwdriver with tape to avoid damage to the painted surface. The door panel is held on to the door with press fit pins which are reusable. Once the panel is removed, you should be able to repair anything that is needed.

How do I remove the driver's side door panel to change the switch?

Remove the handles and any other visible screws. Next, go to the bottom of the door panel and insert a flat blade screwdriver between the metal of the door and the door panel. Twist slightly until the push pins pop loose. Move to the next and continue until the panel is released.

I have a dent in my rear passenger door driver's side and I want to take off the inside door panel I was wondering if anyone has had to take one off and what is the best way to do it thanks

I have removed several of these. First remove all visible screws, including arm rest, window crank/buttons and lock handles. Then with large flat-tipped screwdriver, gently pry all the way around the door panel until it is all loose. Then gently pull the panel up and off.

The drivers side door won't open from the outside. How do you take the door apart from the inside? Thanks!

There are a couple of screws holding the armrest in place, remove them. Using a small pick type of tool, pop out the power window master switch, there is another screw under it. The door panel itself is held in place with push clips, so grab the panel from the bottom and pull it out until all the clips are out of the door, then slide it straight up to get it off the top of the door edge.

How do u remove the rear drivers side door panel on an 01 olds aurora?

1. Remove the two visible screws on the hinge side of the door panel 2. Remove the two (or three) visible screws on the latch side of the door panel. 3. Remove the screw in the plastic door pull recess. 4. Remove the door pull recess by extending the door pull (like you are opening the door), lifting the end of the recess that the screw was removed from and pulling the recess forward toward the door hinges. 5. Lift the plastic cap off the screw head in the 'cup' located at the rear of the power window control panel on the door and remove the screw. 6. Lift the power window control panel out of the door panel ( it puts up a fight) and disconect the two power plugs on the bottom of the assembly. 7. Using a stiff putty knife or a similar tool pry the bottom of the door panel from the door, it is secured by several plastic push in thingies. 8. Disconect the light bulb from the lower left hand corner of the door panel by twisting it a half turn and pulling straight out. 9. At this point the panel should be connected to the door at the top of the panel only. 10. There is probably a better technique but I lifted and pryed and twisted the door panel until the fasteners from Hell that connect the top of the panel to the door decided to release the panel (all the while making sure I was gentle enough not to damage the panel or the fasteners). 11. I didn't need to remove the mirror but I did notice a screw head leading to the mirror assembly that was exposed after the panel was removed. 12. While you have the panel removed you might want to lubricate as many mechanisms as you can while you have them exposed.

You can follow these instructions witch are for the front door as they are pretty much the same to undo let me know if you need further assistance ok

2000 Buick Lesabre: Driver Door 1. Do I have to disarm the air bags to replace glass? 2. How do I pry off the inside driver side door panel components? 3. HOw do I replace the inside driver side...

Hello, NO you don't have to disarm airbags for glass.
You can pry off the door panel with big flathead screw driver. The panel is held on by plastic tabs that pry off and you can press them back on with fingers.
Before prying off panel, you should pry off electric window button panel. Also remove any screws that are visible. Sometimes the arm rest has little plastic covers with screws underneath it.
This is actually easier than it sounds.
Just remove any visible screws, and pry it off and lift up and she'll come off.

Unable to remove adriver's side door panel containing electrical

You have to remove the door panel. To do so, you need to remove all screws visible. Next, remove the panel by popping off the door panel itself. You need a tool sold at the auto parts store....looks like a funky type of screwdriver. You slip it in between the door and the door panel and pop the plastic "buttons" loose. Make sure you look for all the screws so you are not yanking on a fastner that is still attached.

Then you have to lift up and wiggle at the same time.
