My son plugged my 12v iPhone car charger into my BlueParrot B350 XT headset and now it doesn't appear to be able to charge with the BlueParrot 12v charger.

Is the charging device in the B350 likely burned out?

Plug the charger into the wall outlet and test the output at the pins with a meter. If readings are correct, have the B350 checked out. 12 volt is 12 volt, and should not have caused any problem with another 12 volt unit. Your thoughts may be misplaced here.

My thoughts are with the amp output - not the volts.

If possible, disconnect the mail power from the LCD from the power source (fuse box, batter etc.) Than see if there is a difference. It may not have been hooked up correctly and is pulling just enough power even while off (just like a house appliance pulls electricity even when not in full use) to drain the battery so the car won't start.

Have a volt meter handy? If so get the engine running to check your alternator out as explained.....
Attach the volt meters probes to the battery in the DC mode. It should read 13.5 volts. If not the alternators output is no good. If it does show 13.5 volts for at least two minutes do this next. Reverse the probes on the battery. Black on red, and red on black. Also switch it to the AC mode. If you receive a reading of any sign of voltage output the diode is shot. A diode keeps the current flowing one direction to charge the battery in the DC mode. If it reverses it is running in the AC mode which will not charge the battery at anytime

SOURCE: i have a car battery

I am guessing that you mean you have one of the jumpstart devices that you plug into the lighter socket? If that is the case plug it into the lighter socket turn it on and try to start the vehicle. If that doesnt work or you think the unit itself is dead plug it into the lighter socket on a vehicle that has a fully charged battery to charge it. If you post the manufacturer, model and name of your charger we may be able to find a manual for it than i can answer your question better

My Thunderbolt 1.5 Watt solar charger's blue light is not on when it is in the sun. Is this an indicator that it is not charging?

It has to be the socket that has power at all times otherwise the power from the charger can't reach the battery.

And yes, if there are no lights on when supposedly charging, it isn't charging.

Hello Hermando, I assume your truck battery is 12 volt. You would want to select 12v 2a for a long slow charge or 12v 6a for a shorter faster charge.

12v battery charge doesn't work in car

A few reasons why the charger is not charging the battery: The charger itself is not working; The battery will not take a charge, the battery can be 'dead'. If you can, connect the charger to another battery, just to see if it is working. The charge indicator needle will move. If you have confirmed that the charger is working, then the battery may be beyond charging. Make sure the connections from the charger to the battery terminals are tight.

Need owners manual for Century model 87151 auto battery charger

For car, do not set to DEEP charge.

Just set the switch to 12v or 6v to charge your car.
If your car has 12 volt battery, then set it to 12v.
Clip RED Cable to Positive on battery.
Clip BLACK Cable to car's GROUND of the car.
Plug in the cord to AC Outlet.

if you have one it is generally fed out beside the headlight on either side. quick way to find it is to look at the frost plugs on the motor. one will have a plug in and a wire coming from it. that's your block heater. just follow the wire.
